If it weren't ugly enough during the Bush era, now they are even stupider? I read comments, hear analysts, and have conversations at the corner store about Americans "losing their work ethic" or about how "the government obstructs jobs and economic growth" or how "Obamacare is going to destroy the country" or how "we have to reduce the debt."
What the fuck?? Tone deaf assholes. Work ethic declining? THAT IS WHY THE AVERAGE AMERICAN WORKER LEADS THE DEVELOPED WORLD IN AVERAGE HOURS PER WEEK AT OVER 46? Government obstructs jobs and economic growth? THAT IS WHY THE FEDERAL GOVERNMENT AND GOVERNMENT SUB-CONTRACTORS COMBINE TO FORM THE SINGLE LARGEST EMPLOYER IN THE COUNTRY?? Obamacare going to destroy the nation? How, by granting medical care and insurance to MILLIONS of people who otherwise would have cost the country even more through ER visits and essentially being allowed to die in the streets? Here is the best part. The debt is going to destroy the country? REALLY? THAT IS WHY EVERY SINGLE BUSINESS AND PRACTICALLY EVERY WORKING AGED ADULT HAS ACCRUED DEBT RIGHT? Its not like loans and credit help build an economy rather than hinder it right? Matt BONER said yesterday that the country needs to get its finances in order and stop spending beyond its means. YET THAT IS COUNTER-INTUITIVE WHEN BOTH BUSINESS AND INDIVIDUAL CONSUMERS RELY ON CREDIT/DEBT TO PAY BILLS AND GROW FINANCIALLY? Lame. Amerikkka is lame.
