There have been too many bands in the last three decades called Girls or The Girls. And none of them hold a candle to the best moments of the band from Boston in the late 70s/early 80s. Therefore, I also run the other way from any new band that makes a radar blip with that name. It happens every five years or so. The last Girls were a Seattle band on Dirtnap. Pretty mediocre.
