Dude. you have it so fucking backwards. Do you know how hard it is to actually choreograph? I'm not talking necessarily about some Janet Jackson background dancers BUT...
Look at how Raphael Saadiq's backup singers are choreographed do dance like it was 1960s Mo-Town or James Brown?
Even Bruno Mars band impressed me, all those dudes playing instruments including horns while having decent choreography? I didn't diminish their music, neither imply their music was already too diminished, it enhances the performance. Its called a "stage-show" for a reason, not everybody can just stand there quietly like Hope Sandoval
