TNV are a band I never cared too much for originally and thought they were trying too hard to sound lo-fi and sloppy, but when I saw them live back in October they blew me away and sounded fantastic. I've since started to really dig their albums.
Now that they've signed to Merge, I think it will be interesting if they start to "mature" a bit in their albums. I expect nothing but great things from them still.
Their new music video is extremely original and awesome, by the way.
