Not really. There are some knee jerk reactions to noise, but there are a lot more bad reactions to knee jerk noise.

I'm with you that the artists on this particular dvd are not of the later variety though, and I look forward to watching it myself. I agree that the PNW is right now a hotbed of people making quality interesting noisy music too. Though we have our share of kids with a distortion pedal and an amp and nothing original to offer, just like everywhere else.
