I was watching episode 8 of the new season of Dexter and at about 31 minutes into the show, I saw that Rita's daughter is wearing the Kim Gordon shirt that Thurston was selling during his Trees Outside the Academy Tour. I think he also used it for some tape release on Ecstatic Peace! a while back. It's the gray, blue, purple, and white shirt with a kind of abstract women that's painted. It was really random that I even noticed it, and then I re-winded it a couple of times just to make sure. I wonder who chose it for the show. It's kind of in the style of these watercolors:
