Today [July 11] the three of us went to Marc Jacobs' apartment to help Kim film the new Sonic Youth video, "Frogma." We were assigned the roles of jaded partygoers. We sat on couches staring past the other guests and looking out the window. It was one of the easier music videos I've ever made. Usually the director wants enthusiastic, or tough, or sexy, but I have to say, detached can be a pretty natural feeling when confronted with a camera.

"FROGMA"? The hecks is this? A working title for a song "better known as ________"? And what in all that is F happened to that video? Goddammit!
