I decided to go with Sugar Kane, because not only is it a love song (of sorts) but it also serves as a good introduction to my favorite parts of the band's music-it's driving, fuzzy in some parts and crystal clean in others, discordant and melodic at the same time, and has a fun, freewheeling feel...
I was originally going to burn her a copy of Daydream Nation since that was the first complete SY album I heard and is generally considered their defining work, but then I remembered it's kind of long and sometimes she can have a short attention span (like me haha).
