I know he was a decent human being and all, but I can't get over thinking "what a hack" when I recall any of his music where somebody better wasn't carrying him. But oddly a lot of people I respect were warmed by his generametal posturing, and I feel bad for them and anybody else he touched.

You may not have liked his music, but his voice held up til the day he died. dude was 67. saw him on the metal masters tour and his voice was every bit as powerful as it was back in the day. one of the best vocalists to ever live.
