Plus, having already seen the Baden Baden performance i don't have any doubt that i would love that Jazz Icons box-set possibly even more than i do love myself...

Ha.

The performance at Juan-Les Pin Jazz Festival in Antibes, France that's included in the second DVD you linked to, is absolutely stunning as well. John Coltrane with McCoy Tyner, Jimmy Garrison, and Elvin Jones playing a set that might just be considered the very definition of beauty. I haven't seen the footage, but i have it as audio (first obtained a copy from mr. atari 2600 that i subsequently lost on a hard drive crash, and thankfully i got hold of another one last year via snail-mail trading). Just knowing that a video recording is out there as well makes me feel very excited. I should be mercilessly killed if i do not order this two very nice items just as soon as i receive the next payroll.

OK, let's see if I got this right:

Afro Blue
Alabama

3.- Juan-Les-Pins Jazz Festival, Antibes, France, July 27, 1965
I’m assuming it’s the 27th, since the 26th is the complete live A Love Supreme released in 2002. Again, dunno if all tracks listed below (setlist taken from db.etree.org) are included on the DVD:

My Favorite Things
Impressions
Afro Blue
