Agreed. It's not to be brushed under the rug. It's closer to Fuck Buttons than Holy Ghost (see what I did there?), and it really isn't part of any post-DFA tradition. They're an entirely different breed, and I think this new album is more than just an so-so "electropunk" nostalgia trip. In fact, it doesn't make me think of
those bands at all, and I feel like a dick for thinking it would be anything like Hot Chip.
I'm loving it. Really am.
