Thanks - now a quick rant.
I called Waterloo Records in Austin (anyone who knows them would understand how appalling this story is) and asked them about it, and the guy looked it up for a second and then asked, "The artist is called Daydream Nation?" and I said, "Uh, no. The artist is Sonic Youth. The album is Daydream Nation" and he went on to say "Uh, I don't see any orders for him."
Which, obviously, prompted this posting.
