I have there first album, which has a couple of OK moments but is on the whole the usual dull Spencer pastiche-fest. A shame, because his sidekick Matt Verta-Ray seems quite good.
I actually think that Rockabilly is one of the hardest types of music to really play convincingly today. The very fact that it costs so much more to sound that cheap defies the whole object of it.
