It takes something like a broken arm to postpone a fight and no boxer will declare any lesser injury before-hand, knowing it'll only give their opponent a tactical advantage. Paq lost fair and square against a massively superior opponent. Yes the fight should've taken place 5 years ago but I'm not sure the outcome would've been all that different.

Indeed this was probably the least controversial decision for a Mayweather fight and one of his most convincing (and prototypically boring) wins. Manny fought for the $ Floyd fought to win
