1 and 3 make sense but the point of the article was that, whichever way you cut it, even
with all its ties to latin America, Miami just doesn't have a big sports following. If Beckham was actually gonna play it might attract the trendies and the fashionistas but if he's just behind the scenes, he'll probably sell out gala dinners, etc, easier than he will actual games. Maybe he should sign Victoria. That'd keep the celebs happy, even if she's only in the position of goal post.
