Yeah, Macs were never immune to viruses. That's like saying Native Americans were immune to European diseases before Columbus and the rest trojan'd the shit out of them. But it's funny that this article cites "surging market share and pop icon status" as the reasons instead of the Mac user's self-superiority directed as Windows users. At least that's the reason most people will be celebrating the news this article bares. Really, though, this isn't going to level any kind of playing field. Mac will always have a smaller market share and even then there are more stable options like Ubuntu.
