I know that Sonic Youth aren't very popular among the majority of posters on this board, but just in case any fans do remain, I'll just mention that they are featured in the next issue (issue 6) of the wonderful Rock-A-Rolla magazine.
I've not seen the article yet, but I suspect it will be one of the magazine's reviews of an influential band's recorded legacy.
