I believe the old xcom didn’t allow you to savescum, which made it like the current version’s Ironman Mode. I had to google savescum, ahahah, back in the days I wasn’t computer-savvy enough to do that anyway, I guess...
I played the first “new” xcom game a while ago and liked it quite a lot, it was pretty good. Gonna start playing the second one during the holidays, most likely.
