"Spanish-Danish chanteuse Christina Rosenvinge's sophomore Smells Like Records release. Recorded in New York City at Sonic Youth's Echo Canyon Studio and the Magic Shop, she again enlisted the help of Steve Shelley and Lee Ranaldo (both of Sonic Youth) and Tim Foljahn (Two Dollar Guitar) and added the bass playing of Jeremy Wilms and guitar and voice of Smokey Hormel (Beck, Tom Waits). The album also benefits from a collaboration with the Soldier String Quartet."
