Listened to Pinkerton again today. Don't want to be that guy, but it's a very teenage album, and I totally see how it'll piss off people who've moved past it. (I'm going to hate it in a few years, and the burnout won't help.)
I mean - yes, it's gross, sexist, et cetera, but a lot of the thoughts on are stuff I can really identify with, and that sucks. But it's well-written, and (at least AFAIK) Rivers hasn't tried to defend it.
(And if you can tune out the lyrics, then the music rules.)
