One more I added is Crystal Bowersox, who was one of the contestants on America's Got Talent or The Voice or another one of those corporate pop shows. I saw her by accident. She was scheduled to speak at a conference on Type 1 diabetes. Instead, she decided to do a set because, she said, she sings better than she speaks. Believe me, she isn't all that as a singer, either. But at least I didn't have to pay to see her.

I also amended my list to reflect that I've seen Scott Miller (ex-V-Roys, occasionally still tours with Scott Miller and the Commonwealth) twice as a solo act, most recently being last night.
