I'm not sure about this one: Might be an April fools hoax.

Thurston and Lee on Philbin CD
April 1, 2006

"My Darker Mood", Regis Philbin's new covers album "opens up with Sonic Youth’s Charles Manson-inspired “Death Valley 69,” featuring Thurston Moore and Lee Ranaldo twisting in gnarls of feedback while David Murray rips all over the damn place. While intensity builds, Philbin drops in purposely (?) out-of-sync vocals while Morris keeps the band’s jarring pulse alive in the back".
Personnel includes also: David Murray, John Zorn, Bill Frisell, Yamatsuska Eye, John Lurie, James Chance, Dirk Studley and LeRoy Roy.
