There’s this new trend of adopting extremely far-left positions and accusing anyone who’s not a socialist of being a “liberal” (which now means, basically, racist/capitalist/the enemy, all the things modern alt-right conservatives are) and it’s legitimately horrifying.
Some of the younger generation has gone so far “left” that they’ve started buying into actual, like, Russian propaganda, trading one extreme for another. I’m not sure if it’s just reactionary teen stuff, but holy hell. I certainly hope these people can’t vote.
