A benefit show for children’s charity the HOPING Foundation, hosted by comedian John Bishop and headlined by indie giants The Libertines. Also performing will be the legendary Patti Smith, art-rock icon Thurston Moore and winner of the 2018 NME Award for ‘Best British Solo Artist’, Loyle Carner. Inter-set poetry and readings will be performed by Eric Cantona and comedian Frankie Boyle.
Limited edition exclusive posters designed as a gesture of support for the children of Palestine by artists Sarah Lucas, Tracey Emin and Robert Del Naja (3D) from Massive Attack will also be available at the event.
More guests to be announced soon.
HOPING stands for Hope and Optimism for Palestinians in the Next Generation. It is a charitable foundation that provides grants to organisations working with Palestinian refugee children living in refugee camps in Lebanon, Syria, Jordan, the West Bank and Gaza. The concert is our way to shine a light on the remarkable young Palestinians that HOPING is proud to support.
