sounds a lot like a mix of 80% Throwing Muses and 20% Dinosaur Jr.
Hadn't ever listened to them since this morning, they name doesn't fit their music well. Really like her voice and guitar playing. The songs on this album are perhaps a bit (too) poppy, so I'm also checking out their earlier work. Make this Sunday a Screaming Females Day  |
They're good fun. Ugly would be my pick of older albums, Albini produced and a bit rowdier and less pop
