I feel like the zombie genre has really worn out it's welcome and at this point in time has become pretty tired and needs to stop. But I saw this again after having been away from it for a few years (after having got tired of zombies) and still really enjoyed it. Movie still has it. Even though Romero has proven himself to be extremely one note and blows serious chunks these days, he still made this movie. And no one could ever take that away from him.
