Let's put another thing in perspective.
The point of cars is to get people from Point A to Point B quickly. This is what they are designed and built to do. The fact that people are killed due to them is just an unfortunate side effect.
The point of medication is to enable people to manage illness, or recover from it. This is what it is designed and built to do. The fact that people die due to them is just an unfortunate side effect.
