I find Hell Songs and Canada Songs more dynamic and chaotic overall, back then the band was more on par w/ dudes like Dillinger Escape Plan or AIDS Wolf. I saw Daughters live w/ the Locust and Cattle Decapitation as a younger lad, and the singer accidentally spit into my mouth. What a lucky boy I was.

I like it, and yes it’s cohesive, but I don’t think there’s anything novel about it. It’s Daughters done very well. It’s not a masterpiece.
It does kick ass though.
