speaking of art projects, i went to Whitney yesterday and painter Rudolf Stingel once did an art piece where he put out a book with detailed instructions on how to make one of his paintings, then i guess the person who bought the book and followed the instructions could make a "Rudolf Stingel" painting: here is a link: http://www.artnet.com/artwork/424443...tructions.html

I wonder if the same concept could be applied to music, maybe with detailed instructions on film that would go to music, then people would send in their films, then you put a show on with all those films together. i dont know, might be interesting. or even with a music score, though then that would be simply a commissioned work, so nothing novel in that.
