In my opinion at least. Maybe a bit predictable at times, as you say (or perhaps just a bit more traditional than we expected?), but Angel uses Americana to her advantage. There are traces of old boy rock singers like Roy Orbison, and it makes for an interesting, if not groundbreaking, combination of styles. I really need to explore it more... I'll probably buy it. I loved Burn Your Fire... but this album is a different beast altogether.
