I had to Google this. And when I did, I found a band named Courtney Love doing that song on Youtube. But no affiliation to Courtney Love, or Hole.. Did you say "courtney hole's" just to add to the confusion?

The description of them on the vid of that cover states they are an Olympia band.
Then diving a little deeper I found a performance of them that says it is from 1990. Was Courtney Love just such a fucked up local presence that this group decided to name themselves after her? Were they friends? She sure as hell did not have her national recognition or presence by then?
Seriously, my mind is so confused right now...
