Pictish has been extinct for absolute centuries haha... and only a very small portion of people speak Gaelic and they are all from small towns right up north (I live near Glasgow so I'm closer to England than I am to these northern towns)
Anyway, Scottish people base their language on local slang... The way I myself speak is very understandable and same with all my friends though.
