If I dismissed bands/art based on liberal leanings I wouldn't have ANYTHING to listen to. I like the punk aesthetic of deriving energy and inspiration from rebellion...fighting the machine...and/or rallying against "the man". However, in practice, I believe that capitalism and small government serve more people than socialism and big government. By no means is it perfect, but I don't know of a better model.
