yes, so they can exact complete control over the citizens. in any case, if one of the teachers had a gun they could've shot him in the face before he killed the children. a world without guns would be great, hell even just a country without them...however it's a little late for that in america. it's best to arm yourself here and let the survival of the fittest play out.
