As Band Called Death-document shows, there was racism behind that, the rock was so white specially in the sixties & seventies. Nowdays the colour of the skin doesn`t of course matter in rock, but as said, true rock has mostly disappeared. I just wondered why even seventies punk was mostly white? Many punks liked reaggae and was anti-racists, but still most of the known punk bands were white...
