To Rococo Rot

Renowned the past 10 years or so for their painstaking attention to detail and their warm analogue sounds, Berlin's To Rococo Rot jumped into new territory last year with abc123. This mini LP, commissioned for Helvetica's 50th birthday celebrations, superimposed the typeface, in alphabetical order, on to digitised musical wave forms. It's just the sort of idea to get ICA ears pricked up, but it's not just a clever-clogs concept – the music sounds brilliant. Come hear for yourself, and find out what they might come up with next.
