ever since Mattin's near perfectly executed half labtop junk-noise/half silent performance art audience baiting set at No Fun I've been even more obsessed with his work, beyond the standard Billy Bao obsession. I dont think there's a guy in the underground right now who fucks around with so many different angles and sounds, its pretty inspring to hear him doing mega destructo punk in La Grieta and Billy Bao, quiet as hell minimalist improv compositions with trombonist Radu Malfatti, and hellish junk noise with Junko.
