I don't understand why this album is considered not as good as Nowhere. Sure, it might bring up more elements of pop, but it is still a shoegazing record. The tracks are all gems, especially, "Leave Them All Behind," "Chrome Waves," "Mouse Trap," "Time Machine," and, of course, the pinnacle shoegaze track, "OX4." I was a fan with the release of Nowhere, I waited anxiously for this one, expecting more of the same, but, in a way, I'm glad it's not strictly more of the same. I love both Nowhere and this one equally, but this album clearly shows us that Ride was at the top of their game in 1992.
