I mean.. if you mean perfect as in everything from beginning to end being excellent.. this would be my list. I still enjoy albums like Sister more than Murray Street.. but hot wire my heart has always been a pretty weak song in my opinion. Goo, Experimental Jet Set, Trash and No Star, Sonic Nurse, Washing Machine, A Thousand Leaves, NYC Ghosts & Flowers are all good/great too.

Edit: recently I've been thinking their best might be Daydream Nation. I actually thought it was overrated when I first listened to it.. I sat through it numerous times and ended up loving it. I'm always changing my mind though when it comes to favorites.


DDN is perfect. No question.

What is it's 00's equivalent? has there been one? Don't tell me it's "You Forgot it in People" by Broken Social Scene. That's a kene record that recalls some of DDN's energy, but ... hmm... maybe Source Tags and Codes?
