Specific albums? Anything by any of those artists, pretty much. I mean, all of that stuff goes out of print pretty quickly, so I'm assuming you'll be d/l'ing it, so yeah.. just get everything. I don't really think most of those artists have only one defining album, as they're all quite consistent in what they do. You seem to already enjoy the big names in American primitive guitar, aside from Leo Kotke and Peter Lang. I'd say definitely get Glenn Jones' BBQ BOB IN FISHTOWN.. Glenn Jones is my third favorite of these artists, just behind Fahey and Basho. Also, get some James Blackshaw.. get GLASS BEAD GAME. It isn't really American primitive guitar, as it's 12 string and almost classical guitar but it's similiar enough, and quite good. I think Fahey's GOD, TIME, AND CAUSALITY is my all time favorite acoustic guitar album... just get everything by Fahey, you'll be good.
