Northampton Wools is the guitar/amp duo of Bill Nace (who runs Open Mouth) and Thurston Moore (of Sonic Youth as well as honcho of Ecstatic Peace). After a couple of years of full-on free noise guitar decimation in basements and flower gardens across the New England landscape and weirdo clubs in Brooklyn and Manhattan and even in trio with drum dream date Chris Corsano at 2008s massive Colour Out Of Space festival in Brighton, UK we finally have a document that shows these boys in skull collapsing files, sticks, picks and flesh on stressed strings and cracked pickups mania. 40 minutes plus on one side of a black cassette with artwork by Nace. Half of these tapes were on Nace’s merch table when he toured cross the USA with Daniel Higgs this past April. Those are sold out but we got the rest with less than 100 available. Primo kill.
