Okay I'm sick of listening to mainly alt-rock (or whatever you want to call it) so I thought I'd ask for some suggestions of current bands that actually know what the fuck they're doing. I know it's a bit weird coming on to a SY board saying that I'm sick of rock, but that is the situation.
Please, by all means, recommend some good rock, but not just mediocre stuff that's alright. Some recommendations for good electronic music would be welcomed as well. Not techno or its variations though, as highly regarded as they are, I don't really like it. Hell, recommend anything, so long as it's ball bustingly good.
Look forward to some suggestions to get me a bit more interested in music again. I'm in a rut and need to get out.
