But between the two, Atomizer all the way. I've never quite liked the way the songs were mixed on SAF, though I admire it in theory. It just doesn't hook the way Atomizer and Racer X do, which is perfectly fine and I'm sure the intention, but the hooks on those records are so immense and the pristine mix has lots to do with it. My favorite songs all come off of those two records, yeah "Kerosene" is played to death, but it deserves it, and then "Bad Houses" is for me the most underrated Albini song period. Racer X has that awesome title track and "Ugly American" which is another of Albini's most definitive statements.
