that's probably her emotional maturity level - she has never had to 'grow up' - all that crying, probably the first time in her life someone has made her do something. If she lives, someday she'll be one of those people who thank the judge for forcing them to fix their lives. I think she's being controlled by some bad people but they have access to her pleasure circuits.
