i just got to wait til my friend gets here, that way she can be in charge of the camera. been playing this over and over and over. i think changing the high E string to a B would be better for the sound, but i'm just talking about how it can be easy to play Sonic Youth on a normally tuned guitar. but after playing this several times. it would actually be better if it was with 2 guitars. one tuned all to D and another tuned to GGGBBB. but this is starting to sound like i'm going to need to cut a new fret nut. but fuck that. this is about playing it easier

should i mention my version of TOM VIOLENCE that i only use a capo?
but honestally, if i was going to put time into "that guitar"
then i would get a new fret nut and file it down myself
not like it takes long, but even if i could rig 2 extra stings into a guitar
(ala Steve Albini's 16 string guitar)
then i would double up the with certain strings
the only 4 i need

F# B C# A (aka 22x22x) or was it 22xx22
either way, that's how ive played it for decades
