BOREDOMS - 2 live sets (1995/2005)
Did any ECR readers out there in NYC go to the recent Boredoms show on 07/07/07 with 77(!) drummers? Sounded reminiscent of the Glenn Branca “Hallucination City: Symphony For 100 Guitars” event I saw at Disney Hall here in Los Angeles last year —
The second of two sets below was recorded by a friend of mine, the
International Voice Of Reason, who attended the show. The recording quality is a knockout, thanks to his proficiency with a MiniDisc recorder, and the knowhow on smuggling it into a venue without getting caught.
