I wonder how long it will take before the official final result will be announced. Just read this article but doesn't give much clearance:
US Election 2020: When will we get a result and could it be contested?
(bummer I can't read this article, NYT is asking me for paid subscription)

Bush-Gore took something like 37 days, I assume this election to take longer with all the mailed-in votes and there will be several recounts requested.

I guess first results will be lob-sided for Trump from the physical votes and Biden will benefit from the mail votes, hopefully it will be enough
