Never mind, my brain started working again... I got it.
This reminds me of one of my favorite songs of all time, "Djed" by Tortoise from
Millions Now Living Will Never Die. Specifically the bit that kicks in at 10:28 of that song (not the bass, obviously, but the synths.) Also the part around the 11-something minute mark where the the bleeps and bloops start to swarm.
Oh man.
Am I on the right track? Are you a Tortoise fan?
