This was recorded at 24/48 but the files in this torrent are 16/96. The sampling rate was increased and the sample size was decreased.

Upsampling termporarily for edits may make sense, but it should be returned to the original specs -- or if those are higher than redbook, either to the original specs or to redbook parameeters-- for sharing. Otherwise, upsampling is meaningless bloat, not providing better definition of the audio but just arithmetic accidents.

Downsampling make no sense except to bring the entirety to redbook specs for burning to CD-DA.

Finally -- see http://wiki.dimeadozen.org/index.php...nfo#nonredbook -- audio that is not CD-DA-compatible must be clearly described as such prominently near the beginning of the description, with its specifications given; leaving it as a surprise for members to find out only after the download is contra bonos mores of ROIO trading.

If the original 24/48 files are still available and there are no other violations in this material, then they may be shared at 24/48 or at 16/44.1 or (in separate torrents) at both, but converting to 16/96 does not make sense at all.
