If you dig Spider Vomit check out Lindsey Low Hands. Old mate Craig plays in both bands. They're one of my fav's at the moment. http://www.myspace.com/lindseylowhand

The band I'm in should be playing with Spider Vomit in Sydney, probably in July or August. We're called Circle Pit http://www.myspace.com/circlepit

Fabulous Diamonds and Naked On the Vague are both great bands! Both their records will be out on Siltbreeze soon. Jarrod of Fab D's solo thing is really great, kraut-y Terry Riley and Eno influenced groovy analogue electronics stuff. http://www.myspace.com/freechoicemusic

Alien Anal, if you're into Spider Vomit there might be a whole crop of current Australian bands you'd be into like Dead Farmers, Downtown, Good God, St Helens, Pee Wee, Straight Arrows, Eddy Current Suppression Ring, Violent Soho. That's just the more "rock" side of things.
